About Us

Mr. Cook has worked in the trucking industry for over twenty years. He has helped manage the growth of a trucking company through various stages including single owner operator, multi-truck owner business, and a trucking company working under its own authority. Utilizing the latest technology , experience, and industry contacts he enjoys consulting and working with drivers and owner operators in the trucking industry.

Mr. Cook has been in the trucking industry almost his entire working life. Starting when he was 15 years old working in the repair shop for his family’s trucking business, and unloading trailers. As time went on he learned every part of the business including safety, operations, accounting, and finance. At the age of 18 he became an officer and became involved in the management of the company. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors degree in Economics, with additional studies in management and accounting.

Since 2001 Eric has held various management, analyst, and consulting positions for companies in various industries including, trucking, heavy equipment, technology, and banking. In an effort to return to his roots. Eric decided to work with Owner Operators rather than provide services for larger organizations. He is an Enrolled Agent.

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service for audits, collections, and appeals. Enrolled” means to be licensed to practice by the federal government, and “Agent” means authorized to appear in the place of the taxpayer at the IRS.
